Jeffrey Bischoff says:

I like Toyota, but not the stealerships.

Erik Swiger says:

About the heater cores…we get some nasty winter storms here in Cheyenne, and sometimes it's hard to keep enough heat in the vehicle to keep the windows clear. I've wondered what would happen if somebody put an actual radiator inside the car to heat it up. I suggested this to Garage 54, I hope they do it. If anybody needs a lot of heat in their cars, it's those guys.

zombie coffee company says:

I found out the hard way that keystone Ford in Chambersburg PA like to rip people off That's why I no longer go to them

Peter Rech says:

The car industry is full of crooked car makers and dealers. Its same here in Australia. The worst here are Three Prong (Mercedes Benz), KrautWagen (Volkswagen group), Stalantis, Ford and Nissan. These companies never honor warranties and of course our consumer protection agency (the A.C.C.C.) is Asleep At The Wheel when it comes to taking on major multinational companies.

Loren Ray says:

I bought a 2018 toyo tacoma first trip the forrest rats removed the firewall insulation. 85 dollars for each checkup. 31000 mile checkup. Hmm my truck went from 20 mpg to 15 with a custom canopy, front and back hitch receiver mounted. Mountain tires. I decided to go back to my own maint. WELL it still had the origonal air filter ALL CHEWED UP by tree rats. Hmm so all those faithful and expensive checkup maintainance shows were? Oil change only? Glad the rats gave up before all that nylon fluff got sucked thru.

I Think About Things says:

7:24 Speaking of replacing the PCV valve, does anyone know a shortcut for that on an ‘07 Ford Focus? It’s behind the intake manifold and if I remove that many bolts and parts, I won’t know what to do with the “extras” afterward. Thanks, Scotty!

bombshell says:

Hi Scotty can you please train other people like you once you live you retire we are going back we need you to train more people to think like you and talk like you so people can listen and learn the world is gone out of control

tee vee says:

Subaru dealer in portland charged my friend 1900 for a tranny service on his car that was in for a blown motor…absolute theives..car never ran again

Biden is fake says:

Don't ever get those warranties like carshield, they are scams and no repair shop in my town honors them. Also the extended warranty from Drivetime is a scam too. They don't cover anything of value.

Provo Cougar fan says:

The small (regular) battery on my Prius went out (6 years), not bad. I called around and only the Toyota dealer had this small weird shaped batter for sell. I jumped my car and drove it to the dealership, told the service department to replace the battery. When I went to pay there was a $200 service charge. I demanded they explain this charge. They finally said it was a service charge to determine if the battery was dead. I refused to pay, since I already knew this and told them to replace the battery. What a rip off!

arrowguy173 says:

Toyotas are among the best vehicles. Dealers however (of any brand) are NOT among the best places to have work done. Yet far too many get ripped off.

Ren Khachatoorian says:

Yes, Scotty said the automatic with 180 miles can go wrong. But not the manual.

ava gd says:

I learned about dealerships in 1991. I needed a voltage regulator and went to a dealer. The dealership charged 30 dollars for the regulator. A parts store charged 10 dollars.

Priya says:

It’s all screwed up everywhere. This is not how America used to be. Everyone is trying to rip off someone. I never went to dealer for any service except for parts

Dave Nelson says:

Had a new car battery fail in warranty 36 mos versus 48 mos. The dealer quoted me the price. I asked if it was prorated due to the premature failure. He states "yeah, we could do that" upon which i said "yeah, do that!". $28 less than original quote!

Joe Shmoe says:

I'll tell you a Toyota dealership scam happening right now. Selling a 2019 Tacoma 4 cylinder w/30k miles for $30 grand.

Gary Noss says:

Happened to me, years ago! Long story short: 88 Honda Accord, replaced distributor cap and rotor, checked timing, next morning no start. Towed to Honda dealer, was told bad computer. Had it replaced, cost thousands. Found out later I had forgot to tighten distributor bolt!
