Because I couldn’t find a DIY Video on how to install the Powertrax No Slip Locker, I decided to make on myself. I hope you will find this helpful. The 8.4 Diff is found on Toyota Tundras, T100, and Tacomas. If you are interested on the front 7.5 diff locker installation, please refer to this site:

This video was so informative and exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Thanks so much for your video. Appreciate your willingness to post your project.
Huge thank you for making this video, and I just watched it in it's entirety. If I do end up going this route over the selectable ARB, I'll be referencing this video.
I like that you used Metallica in the beginning
like you video, already subscribed
I don't know why you measured the backlash and rotational tq, you aren't messing with the gear setup. You are pretty OCD, I'll say that, and marking all the ring bolts. "The Pinion" as you called it, is actually the Center Pin. But great video otherwise!
Good job brother!
thank you so much.
you make every lesson easy and you are master of these things.
Hi, The Other Guy.
I have a 2006 Double Cab Toyota Tundra and I'm interested in regearing my rear end to accommodate for 33" tires. My stock tire size calls out for 30" tires. My question is, did you regear your differential and if so, what gears did you put in?
Second question, How well do your lockers work? I'm also interested in doing this install but not sure what route I want to take.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
@theotherguy where do you live?
EXCELENTE EL VIDEO AMIGO, TENGO UN LOCK RIGHT PARA MI SUZUKI VITARA, SEGURAMENTE NO ES IGUAL PERO ME DA UNA IDEA MAS CLARA DEL PROCEDIMIENTO DE INSTALACIÓN. SALUDOS DESDE PANAMÁ.
Can u send me the link for this locker or give me more information about it I would love to purchase one
My only suggestion to you for future vids is… buy and use a tripod! 😀 Great instruction vid. I'm looking at getting an Eaton TruTrac for my Tacoma and found this.
