Scotty, you know replacing the diff fluid was harder to pump back in then you showed. Well done sir.

Kayla Marie says:

I love your video's Scotty, I always learn something new from you every time I watch one of them 🙂 I also know that you are not going to sugar coat anything either, always just the total truth!

MatthieuAmherst says:

The diff, most overlooked maintenance item

Adem C says:

Hi Scotty, i would’ve suggested people to take out the fill plug first.

khalfan khamis says:

Chamblizi Productions says:

Double ugh first time

AlainHubert says:

And there I was, thinking that Toyota's were reliable. Serves me right to believe everything that Scotty tells us.

Ronald Johnson says:

Electronics is simply a capture device. It really has a great benefit behind it but then the company ruined that by locking down the software and making parts you can't buy.

Dakota Kline says:

Must be common with them

Ian Zulick says:

"And just get that on nice and tight…" * strips drain plug *

Joe electronic schematics for auto says:

The lights in a Chevy also come from a computer the lights on a Ford also come from a computer this is the age we live

Bobby Mason says:

Where can I get one of those sound sensors?

NotN8 says:

Omg I almost bought one of these 2 months ago! Glad I didn't

Timothy Brinegar says:

Without all the computer control, they wouldnt be able to roll out the per mile tax for driving like they are planning on. If its analog the slaves can tamper with it. Cant have that now can we? Lol the kings need more gold plated private jets.

clive Lee says:

Always loosen the fill plug first, you would feel stupid draining it and not been able to fill it, and unable to drive, schoolboy basics

Albert Hazelnuts says:

It's always best to unlose the filler plug first then the drain plug. Just in case the filler plug breaks.

Shekhar Moona says:

I just changed my differential fluid in my Jeep. It was $300 front and rear to include transfer case.

Jim F says:

Why not listen to the noise after the fluid change to hear if it’s any better?

Joe Medvec says:

Me Kilmer. I have a 2008 gmc envoy. I took the throttle body off cleaned it up . Put it back together. Now i have a high idle problem. Any suggestions. I’m seeing i need to do a throttle relearn. With a computer. I don’t have one. Do you know any other way to relearn the throttle. On 2008 gmc envoy.

The average Joe’s tinkering And Repair Show says:

But….. but …….but…..its….a..Toyota. There better than everything else they don’t break. Lmao. You can buy an engine for a lot of Chevrolet vehicles for the cost of that stupid little cheap differential. Pretty low miles for a differential to be going out.

Ian Lo says:

Scotty, do you still service classic Mercedes cars such as the 1977-1985 W123 vehicles? If you do, how often do you get them? Also, what do you think of those vacuum systems on those vehicles?

Ryan Gee says:

you shouldnt wear headphones while youre driving, i got pulled over for that. oh and by the way a differential is only $300 and ill do it myself thanks lol

Brent Buckingham says:

I always torque to specification. Scotty probably has a calibrated arm.

han cowman says:

Scotty I would have thought you'd provide a little more insight into the "factory fill" these auto makers use for differentials and transmissions. GM and Toyota are both guilty of using junk oil. A good refill can help wonders.
