2015 rode
Like a brick but it was very quiet on the inside 2016 the smooth ride was restored XLE trim is all a person needs. But good luck finding one especially hybrid.
I have a 2014 Lexus RX 350 all wheel drive. The problem is that after the car drives for 10-15 minutes and heats up it changes the gears from second to third or from third to fourth. Sometimes there is shuddering at low speeds. At high speeds everything is fine. When it's cool outside it shifts better. If you know, what could be the problem? I was at the Lexus dealership and they said it was a torque converter. I changed the oil in the transmission but nothing changed and everything remained the same. Please, tell me what you think it could be.
My god… Toyota is making junk these days. Their attention to detail went south years ago!
I have a 2020 Avalon. I guess this one doesn't apply.
So nice to see a quick fix done CORRECTLY !
3:56 when you don’t have enough wire to grab on to pull I push. I imagine with the pliers holding the wire the tip of the pliers was touching the connector. This put the lock under tension. That is why I pry the lock up then use my other hand with a pocket screw driver push the pin out. MDT here.
Didn't understand what is that solenoid doing?
I tried to tell you that you forgot the heat shrink on the second wire but you didn't hear me
I heat the work first, and then apply the solder to the heated work. This is because the solder has a flux core, and applying directly to the soldering iron tip burns off this flux, so I'll get inferior connections because the flux didn't get to do its job cleaning the work.
An alternative to that is to apply flux manually. Then it can clean the oxidation off and the solder sticks better!
why does a mount have a solenoid?
I think the reason it breaks is the harness is anchored to immobile housing on radiator support but the connector is on engine which moves back and forth.
thanks for the lesson. Also, I like to see the fixes for when you missed something.
Almost 200k on my 13 Avalon Hybrid. Runs like a champ.
I have found that my wife’s seam ripper works real good to cut open wiring harness without damaging the wires inside. I am a retired technician. 50 years in the business. I loved Toyotas.
I learnt some solder iron uses here today. Thank you Sir,
Turn some lights on. Too dark. Forget to pay the light bill?
