TEGIWA: How To – Install SW Motorsports Super Low Seat Base Mount -Toyota GR Yaris!

Welcome to another how to video. We’ve got Matt back in his GR Yaris to showcase and install the SW Motorsports super low seat base mount for the Toyota GR Yaris. He walks you through the process of removing your seat, plastic surrounding, the sliding rail and fitting the SWM base mount accordingly.

The SW Motorsports Toyota GR Yaris super low bolt-in seat base mount allows bucket seats and sliders to mount to this base. This base allows the lowering of the standard seat keeping all electronics in place and seat functions working inc the height settings. Fits both driver and passengers side and includes seat side mounts. Bolts directly to the OEM bolt holes to provide a low base for which to mount seat side mounts or sliders easily and securely.

I have ordered the sliding version but the online fitting instructions don’t mention to disconnect the battery. Is this definitely required and will it cause any issues when reconnected, such as resetting anything?

Libcabe says:
