valve cover not head lmfao
If you don't know the difference between a valve cover and a cylinder head, maybe you shouldn't be doing this.
I like how he said if u can't take that off u sldnt be doing this but yet he was calling a valve cover a head.. classic
that is a valve cover my friend. the head hold the cam, and valves. when a head is removed it exposes the top of the pistons. you exposed the camshaft and valves (valve cover. also to remove the head the timing chain needs to be removed..
lol . the head gasket….. good one.
some more infor on how you remove the cam gear without removing the timing cover? unless you did and didnt put it in the video
I'm getting this code. I have a 2006 Scion xA. P0012 Camshaft Position A Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 1). First mechanic told me it was the camshaft position sensor. Told me my car might not turn on, but it runs just fine so far. I paid him $97 for the sensor, $80 for the job, took him less than 30 minutes. Not fixed. Second mechanic tells me it's the camshaft timing valve, cleans it, puts it back on and charges me $45. Told me that the timing valve might need replacing if it turns on again, valued at $190. Light turned on again.
Thats a valve cover, not a head
I have this code in my Toyota Yaris having issues starting the car
the instructions were not clear my penis stuck between belt and rotor
Thank you for doing these videos! I'm at 251k miles at just got this code.
Its not the head its the valve cover
How much is the total cost to repair this? Dealer quoted me 1000 plus tax. Not sure whether I want to attempt this project… What do you think?
did you ever got the p0012 code off? I have the same thing. So I was just wondering.
