Scotty says buy Toyotas. So I did it. Recently I have a problem. It happens after first daily starting and after a couple of hundreds miles driving. Yellow light check engine appears, than appears TRC OFF and SVC. Rpm drops to idle. Pressing gas pedal no response. The only way to proceed driving is stop the car, turn off the engine and start it again. The lights are still there, but engine runs normally whole day. This is happening almost every day.
As Scotty said: first clean up air flow valve. Than I unplugged battery. Nothing helped. Went to mechanic. He said SCV is not ok. He changed SCV, same problem.

The only sedan I would buy now is toyota camry, Honda accord manial ( if I can drive a manual) and automatic after 2014, the new mazda 3,6
SUV probably are rav4, crv, cx5 basically anything that doesnt have cvt, and turbo engines. Ecvt maybe isnt that bad ( hopefully I am not wrong) that applies if you want vechicle longerticity and reliability
Never get a cvt until CVT actually proven to be reliable. Mazda has been better recently
There are No Corolla “Type R” to compare the Civic Type R to. A more apples-to-apples proper comparison to Corolla S may be Civic Sport or Civic Si. The Civic Type R (class) should not be compared to any of the Corolla as they are not making them in that R type class.
Chrysler is a good company when you look at the affordability of the parts as long as u change ur oil and prepare 2 swap out the transmission at 100k miles and are mechanically capable there gud pickup trucks just get the dealer to warranty the transmission and put it in !
