Could you please do it on a 98 Toyota Avalon, it's really hard to get to the thermostat, thank you. 🙂
Replaced the cracked radiator yesterday with the help of your videos, car was running fine until highway speeds, thermostat possible?
on my 98 camry, the temperature is normal and leveled off, but when i accelerate, the temp gauge jumps to near-red, then levels off again. Does that sound like a new thermostat? or potentially blockage?
What does it mean if the heater isn't working on high fan setting?
What would be the consequence of doing this without draining? My bolts in the skid plate are rusted to kingdom come and I can't get anything on them to pull them out
I just completed the thermostat change thanks for the tips dude
1A Auto,
Do you need some type of gasket for the housing in addition to the O-ring that fits around the thermostat? I was told that you only need the O-ring because that's considered the "gasket", but I just want to make sure. My car doesn't leak coolant, but I believe the thermostat is stuck open so I'm going to replace it. Thanks.
can you please help me…I have a 1998 Lexus es300 my new thermostat has a jiggle pin,in what position do place thermostat in?
Thank you guys
