;( I just fixed that by 300$ its very easy job to do but my car didnt start
that time and I was really need to fix it I wish that I got this video
before
Thanks! Without much car experience, I saved $160 on my 2000 Camry. So far
things are great, BUT I went to AutoZone and purchased a dielectric grease
packet at the register. Without realizing it, I purchased a packet labeled
as connector protector, and a day later, I saw they had a similar packet
labeled as boot protector. Have I made a huge mistake? The flashpoints are
the same. They have the same composition but different percentages
allocated. My gut says no, but I’m curious for your opinion.
Im not bein a smart ass or tellin you how to make a video, but it would look
much better and be more helpful if you put your camera on the side of the
car so that were not starin at the back of your head plus we could get a
view of the coil too with a side view
@shooter250: I’ve camry 1999 and I replaced the spark plugs and wires. Can
you give me a diagram of wires and coil connector just to confirm that I
didn’t connect to wrong connector. Here is what I have, left to right: 1 –
2 – 3 – 4. 1 is longest is connect to the one closet to the front of engine
near the battery and 4 is the shortest is connect to the one closet to the
driver (further to battery) Thanks
Yes, I wouldn’t even try replacing just the plugs without buying a set of
wires just in case. Good luck and let me know if you find any tricks to
make it easier. Thanks for watching.
3:55 – 4:10 the caption mentions use of a torque wrench. I am replacing the
plugs w/o one as well. Do you know what the proper torque is??
how did you know what order to put the plug wires back. did you label them

If your getting iridium spark plugs and new wires, that may not be bad. I
would see what the parts costs alone and then decide.

@210sublime not too tight nice and snug as soon they reach the head half a
turn more.
Thanks for the video ,guess I’d better just buy new plugs right along with
the wires since there a good chance they will tear up anyway. Reg
I don’t know to be honest. You may can look at the 95 engine and see if it
looks similar.

I haven’t worked on an ’06 so I can’t say.
@aboutme9cy There is a clip that you need to squeeze or push in with a
screw driver. Then it should pull off
Mechanic asked for $90 just to replace the 4 spark plugs.
Great help! Thanks bud!
