I installed 4 tires on a Lexus nx and now the light is on. I checked the screen and all 4 sensors read nothing. I’m pretty confident I didn’t break any of the sensors. What’s going on here?

Tiberiu D says:

Like and subscribed Thank you. I have one sensor bad but I will replace all of them tomorrow.

John Smith says:

Man… this video is like perfect. So informative and answered every question I had. You’ve earned my sub. Awesome vid.

Hashem N says:

What if you do not have a laptop computer?

mcb sprint says:

Which digital torque wrench is that? Brand model please

2bcome1 says:

Just another thing to milk your pockets. If you check your tire pressure monthly and eyeball before you get in regularly, you don’t need a sensor.

DongBacHoaKy says:

I tried the techstrean (Verson 16.00.023) to register ID many times but the process never finished. Techstream displayed the error: ID Registration failed due to a communication error with the ECU while in Initialization mode. I jumped the TC and CG for 30 seconds and retried but never make it.

Freedom619 says:

It works on my 07 scion tc! Note: make sure you turn the car key halfway to give the car power, otherwise it won’t connect to Techstream, also know that these sensors turn on and off by themselves based on movement etc.. Update: I bought the Techstream 64bit cable for windows 10, save yourself time and use it instead on a windows XP, don’t have an old windows XP laptop? Then follow this man’s video: https://youtu.be/Sv6dB6X46A4 this worked perfectly for me.

Kong Vang says:

It's a long shot but worth asking. I bought the denso tpms sensor and mini vci cable and techstream. I am running techstream version 12 and vci version 1.4. When I go to register the sensors it gives me this error

"Terminate initialization by connecting the TC and CG of the DLC3 for 30 seconds.

Then try the registration procedure again."

I've jumped the tc and cg and still no luck

Do you know how to fix this?

Jason Born says:

Doesn't tell you when to register the new sensor smh

HowtoDoit says:

Good video. One question. I have a 08 lexis es350 and my car has a full spare wheel with tpms sensor. I plan to change them all but do I have to change the spare too? Can no I just do 4 tires and not all 5?

Dennis L says:

Hello.. i bought these same Denso sensors and did not take a picture of the numbers and they are already installed on each tires. My question is, do I need the numbers on one of them or all of them? I am thinking of taking off one tire and send it to a shop to remove the tire so I can take a picture of the sensor… again, do I need the numbers on all.or can I just take one? They are all Denso TPMS. Thank you
