can a Camry 2007 alternator fit on a mark x 2007

Kevin Mahler says:

Removing and re-attached the belt is by far the hardest part of this process. Be sure to have a long breaker bar or extra long socket wrench. On my 2005 Camry the is not much space between the tension bolt and the car frame so be sure to use a shallow 19mm socket. I needed assistance to get the belt back on. Also be sure to make note of the belt routing as you will most likely have to realign the belt. Installing the actual alternator is simple.

Tony M says:

Great video! I have that same car and I'm glad to see its not a really big deal to replace that part as it is on some cars. Question. When you disconnect the negative cable I realize you isolate the electrical system but it also causes the on-board computer to lose its data. I've read that it can cause operating issues until the car ha been running for a while. Do you use some kind of auxiliary power source to keep that from happening? Thanks again for the video, just found your channel and subscribed.

God bless you

Dustin Carter says:

is this the same for the 3.5?

Chanh Pham says:

I has just commented "Professional quality process". However, the most difficult trick of the task is to take off the V bell and it was'n event shown. Everything else is common sense: unscrew/screw nuts and bolds, disconnect electrical wires. I blame the video for motivate me to try to do it myself but it wasted a lots of my times to figure how to get the bell out. There is a danger of breaking the drive of ???. The process is not good.

Chanh Pham says:

Professional quality process.

First Timer says:

Question. What alternator are you using? (Brand/serial etc)Will be trying to accomplish this alternator replacement. Great video.

A Guillen says:

Great demonstration! Now I can tackle this task with confidence.
