hi, I have a FORTUNER 2009. Which steering wheel looks exactly the same as
yours… even the car interior looks the same. What I wanna do is to
upgrade it to the one with Audio Control, Bluetooth Phone Buttons + Cruise
control… will it be possible? I already changed the head unit which has
the toyota steering wheel control socket slots. What I am worried about is
the cruise control… Will I need any special part for that? My car doesn’t
come with cruise control… but it’s automatic transmission… Thank you.
Hi I just did the same thing , U only need to make sure the kluger Spiral
Assembly has the socket to plug the steering pad kit cable. If it doesn’t
then you have to change the spiral assembly that has one.
only need to remove one battery terminal – then there is no potential
difference. Remove 2 is better and safer i guess as the one removed could
move back onto the terminal – this is less likely to happen if you remove
both.

so there is no airbag fuse to disconnect or unplug?
if you leave the main steering wheel nut (the 19mm one) on the bolt loosely
you will avoid punching yourself in the face lol. been there.
