Thank you for the vid, very simple for those of us who are completely
clueless.
Dude thank you so much I ran through your exact procedure today and it was
a piece of cake. My cd eject button had collapsed inside of the unit. Turns
out that the snap tab on top of the button broke from over use and Florida
heat no doubt. Tried a silicone glue on it, we will see how it holds up.
Warning folks stuff something into the openings before taking the bottom 4
screws out. One of them fell into the cowl housing, a pain to get to it,
but we did. Stuffing the holes would avoid it.
under the radio there are other knobs for something else, in place of one
of those knobs I had a dealer place a wire for an ipod, how in the world do
I pop that out to repace the wire??? the wire has a short & is causing my
ipod to not run.
Thanks for the vid. Straightforward.
really help taking out my stereo thnx
I found that an old cheese slicer tool made an excellent tool to get the
dash bessel (the first step of the process) started, then pop in a flat
head and it snaps loose easily.
Nice work ……thanks
