This helpful video just helped a clueless college girl replace a headlight!
thanks!!

mikep3501 says:

After I have replaces the headlights do I need to make any adjustments…
do I need to replace the new light bulbs that come with the set? I notice
that my lights are not the same they are either pointing at a lower spot or
the lightbulbs that come with the units are cheap. What should I do?

1A Auto Parts says:

The bulbs that were in the new headlights are test bulbs, they should be
replaced with a decent bulb from the auto parts store. You will need to
adjust the headlight beam, there should be an adjusting screw or two on the
back of the headlight housing. The proper way to adjust them is to park the
vehicle 25′ away from a fence, wall, garage door..pretty much and flat
surface where you can adjust the two lights so that they line up. Hope this
helps you out. Have a great day.

Thanks mate you saved me at least $200 in labour

1A Auto Parts says:

The issue with the polishing is you need to reseal the headlight or the
polishing that you do will just wash away. The cost of a good sealer and
products needed to polish the headlight normally exceed the cost of a new
headlight from us.

robert hersey says:

Why would you replace the whole fixture when you could just polish the old
one and make it look brand new?

fbueller says:

Thank you so much for this great video!! I just searched for help in
replacing a bulb, but I am really needing to replace the complete
headlights as well. I will plan to do this over the next couple months.

catlovingwoman says:

I have a question: after reconnecting new shiny headlight to the wires,
would it be smart/logical to try out the headlights, making sure everything
is kosher? I have never done this before, but I would like to. Also, how
long is your extender for the ratchet? And 1/4″ size flat head screwdriver?
Thank you very much for this information.

Daniel Ammons says:

Very well made. Now how about the Fog Lights. I need to replace those.
Merry Christmas

1A Auto Parts says:

You could test them out before you button everything back up. You could use
a 6″ extention on your ratchet and that should make it a little easier.
Have a great day 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

We currently do not have a video that shows you how to remove the bumper
from your 2003 Toyota Camry. We’ll keep this request in mind in the event
that we need to make this repair in the future.

matt bente says:

I took the headlight off and now im stuck on how to actually clean the
inside of the plastic but cant seem to get past the housing unit. dont
wanna break anything either

udderworldly says:

awesome! thanks

1A Auto Parts says:

Some of them come with a cheap sealer while others come with none. Most
good UV protecting sealers are $50+. All of the people that call us that
have tried to fix the issue with their lights all say it last at most 3
months.

Thanks For you Help. Twice now I have used your video’s.

robert hersey says:

Don’t the kits you buy come with a sealer? The kits are like $10. I used
one on my old car and it worked fine. Lasted at least 3 years without
clouding up again. And that’s 3 years through New England weather.

maynardcat says:

Very helpful information, but they should make those lenses out of
something that wouldn’t cloud up considering the trouble they are to
replace. Are the high beam and low beam headlamps the same

xxbobdeexx says:

Is there a difference in light projection between the chrome and black
trimed headlights you offer? What bulbs are best for a white light without
HID coversion?

ts281983 says:

I have a 2003 Lexus ES300 and it helped tremendously with the headlight
repair…Although they added a few more screws in places than the Camry, it
worked out the same.

1A Auto Parts says:

bshocks says:

If you were going to have to remove the whole bumper are there anymore
clips that I would have to know about? I have an 03 camry thats needs a new
front bumper and I figured I could buy a new one, remove the old one, and
install the new one to save a lot then have it painted. The only problem is
there’s a hole in the underskirt and that I might need a proffesional to
fix (Didnt see any videos for 03 camry). ps: is there a good site to order
bumpers that you’d recommend? THanks, love ur channel!

1A Auto Parts says:

The lens does not come off of the rear housing, it’s a fused piece.
