You’re videos are great. However, I would suggest using a lavaliere
microphone. It would definitely enhance your presentation.

1A Auto Parts says:

If there are any screws holding the rotor on they should be right in front
of the rotor. If you follow this video you should be fine. 1aauto.com

Brian Ryder says:

Does the rotor just come off, or is it held on by screws or bolts? The FSM
says to check run out. Is that necessary? I’m replacing the rotors and
pads.

1A Auto Parts says:

Yes, If you are replacing the rotor a new set of pads should also be
installed so that the new rotor doesn’t get damaged. We carry some really
nice brake pad and rotor kits on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

nice vid most of the new Benz rear brake pads/caliper is like this.

thanks…

1A Auto Parts says:

If the peddle is soft or spongy, you may need to bleed the brakes. The
easiest way to do this is with someone to help you. Here’s a link that will
show you how to bleed your brakes.Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com

Great video! I’m thinking of replacing the brakes and rotors on my dads
truck while I’m borrowing it. The truck shakes under braking at about 40
mph. How is replacing the rear brakes and rotors? Is it the same process?
Similar enough? Or do you have another video I’m not seeing in order to do
them? Thanks for your time!

lewis121701 says:

Why can’t ALLLL mechanics be like you?

gregp05 says:

Good video. But be aware for the diy-ers. The 2 pins that hold the pads in
place love to get seized in the calipers. Can be the biggest pain in the
back to get them out.

shalus says:

Can you use an impact wrench to take the bolts off?

WhereToInvestUScom says:

is this the same for 2006? Where is the link to your website to buy parts?

1A Auto Parts says:

They may come apart in a similar way. We currently do not have an auto
repair video for this particular application.

alanms1975 says:

Would this set up be the same for a 4Runner?

Nancy Flanagan says:

Do you need to pull the pads to replace the rotor?

1A Auto Parts says:

more than likely the rotors may have warped if they have been heated up
under hard braking a few times.

1A Auto Parts says:

The process should be the same.

1A Auto Parts says:

The brakes on the 2010 model will be similar but may have different bolt
sizes and slightly different locations but it will require the same steps
necessary to replacing the rotors.

1A Auto Parts says:

If you can get one in there you should be able to. Just be careful removing
the bolts so that they do not break. Have a great day 1aauto.com

Thanks for informative video

1A Auto Parts says:

They are pressed in on this vehicle. We sell the replacement wheel bearings
on our website, but we currently do not have an auto repair video that
shows the process. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

redentergy says:

i loved ur video thank u for saving my ass

blam7 says:

Is this done the same way on the 2010 Tundra?

1A Auto Parts says:

for the rears, you may have to loosen up the parking brake if it is the
drum style inside the rotor. If not, you would do the brakes just like the
fronts.

wstyng says:

Great video showing how to do the work. One caution to watch out for is
that the 2 slider pins will most likely be rusted and very difficult to
remove. Recommend getting the slider pin kit before doing the work.

1A Auto Parts says:

Yes you should replace the brake pads whenever you change the rotors on
your vehicle. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

TheMattsbay18 says:

Would this brake set up be similar to a 2004 Toyota 4 runner? After
watching this video, I want to change my brakes myself and I think I can do
it.

Tony S says:

Thank you very much for this video. I used it to change my front brakes and
rotors on my 07 Tundra and found it extremely helpful!

mcguinness40 says:

great video. I was reading in Chiltons and alldatadiy and they said to
remove 2/3 of the brake fluid from the master cylinder because when you
push in the pistons it will force brake fluid back into the reservoir, or
simply loosen the brake valve and let it out that way

Pacheco Rubio says:

Have you done a bearing replacement video (front) on this truck?

Retch Crabtree says:

Thanks for the vid. Haven’t worked on any of my vehicles for about 10 yrs.
but I decided to do the brakes. Vid was very helpful. Thanks! Just watched
the vid for 2006 Malibu rotors. Gonna take them off and get them turned.
Keep up the good work!

Alexx Cervantes says:

Useful Video. Thanks for the video help. Can you do a video of a brake job
on an Infiniti FX35 2003-08 I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

USMCBAMF says:

Very helpful video. Would you recommend I replace the breaks when I change
the rotors?

USFA45LC says:

This is unbelievably helpful! Last time I had my breaks replaced, it cost
over $300.00 at the dealer. Looks like doing it myself will cost under
$100.00!! Thank you!!

GreeseMonkeyy says:

Very helpfull

William Umana says:

doddwynne says:
