What is the part name of the box that the air hose connects to and sits
atop.
what is the name of the hose that connects to the air intake hose, the one
that you pulled that had the rusty clamp? I can’t find that part anywhere
and when I was changing my intake hose, the little flex hose that connects
into the air intake hose ripped and I’m trying to replace it.
the air intake hose had a big slash in it i ordered a new one. can that be
cause the insufficient flow?
What is the name of the hose directly to the left of your finger, above the
air intake hose at 1:08 . I read in my haynes manual that when you pull
that hose you’re supposed to have vacuum at idle and when not in idle. Did
I pull the wrong one, because it didn’t have any suction. Those hose didn’t
seemed to be cracked or anything though.
You may want to check the vacuum hoses to see if any of them are broken or
cracked and need to be replaced.
Can that cause the P0401 error code as well? I Got the vsv and the egr
modulator changed. n the code came back. I did the vacuum test to test the
egr valve and the test indicated that the egr valve is working.
Awesome !!
yes if there is a slash then the car will not read the correct amount of
air going into the engine from the MAF sensor.
You most likely pulled the breather hose to the valve cover instead of the
one to the manifold.
I got the part today. Am gonna change or and let you know what happens.
