I installed them with basic stock lens, they worked fine, however, a friend
suggested I try projector lens, they perform even better.. Also when you
use words like the ones you choose to use, it shows your lack of
intelligence, and your limited vocabulary ! Read a book moron !

You don’t have to cut the dust cover you just have to separate the bulb
from it’s shield, install the bulb shield in the headlight then put the
dust cover and carefully insert the bulb through both of them. I did this
on my fj cruiser but i decided to go for a proper projector retrofit
