What if the motor is good but the window still won't go up?

My driver side window is all the way down and it will not roll back up. I've tried banging on the front switch panel and it didn't work. I have a 1998 Toyota Corolla.

2:04 probably the most useful bit of information on the net about this subject.

Drivers side door switches on 2000 Sierra Van, one will lower passengers window but not raise it again and the other (Drivers side) failed today leaving the window in the down position.

So a little YouTubing, lots of this and that – all helpful but then I came across your video. Went out side in to the slush, turned on the key, tested the passenger switch and watched the dome light to establish the base line then went to the drivers side window switch, held it down, Gave the door a bash in a couple of places and Voila up struggled the window.

Paige Weeks says:

This will be the third replacement because, even though it has been replaced twice, it still won't go up and slides down while I am driving. Thank you for the video. I am going to try to fix it myself this time. The window will roll down. It will not roll up.
