While other guys remove and tie up caliper, you simply rotate it up. I like
that. What about cleaning and greasing? You think it is not needed? Nice
video. I’m preparing myself to work on my brakes.
don’t be afraid to throw some grease on the brake pads they make noise
sometimes. and always check the slide pins on the caliper they can ‘freeze’
and may cause you a lot more money.
He is using a C-Clamp to push the caliper piston back into the caliper.
This is done so that the caliper will slide back over the new, thicker
brake pads. A lot of people recommend that you remove the lid of the brake
fluid reservoir before doing this.
That looks easy
Going by your video, once I lifted up the caliper, the brakes started
leaking and now it’s empty. Any idea on why??

caliper
Video is helpful. Thanks for the advice. It has been several years since I
needed to do this but feel much more confident now.
