It's a shame the infrastructure for fuel cells didn't happen in America. I think that's probably the best problem.
I like Toyota, their cars have always been reliable.
I'll never own any sort of hybrid or EV, I'll hold onto my V8 for the rest of my life and if it becomes physically impossible I'll go back to a horse.
I like to roll up the Wool-o and get all schmoked up while watching the Scotty Kilmers videos
I'm old enough to remember over 60mpg cars in the 1980's
1:03 no charging unit , 2:25 wondering why this charging unit can’t be external ?
Guessing it’s because of the high voltage ?
Soo, what’s the milliGaus exposure like from the magnetic field coming from the batteries?
I think all electric cars should have a minimum 200 kwh capacity, then I think they will be crowned the champion, but until that happens, EVs have a long way to go.
Gasoline hybrid
So what about the hybrid batteries? Those are a gamble, they could go out in the 100k range or not go out until the 300k range. You just don’t know, and when they do go out, they cost $6,000 to replace.. For that reason alone, would you recommend purchasing a hybrid vehicle? You’ve discussed this in past videos, but has your view changed on them? Thank you Scotty
Excellent explanation. Anyone on the fence should be able to make a decision easily after watching this extremely informative video.
the plug in hybrid works almost ike the Diesel electric Locomotive, you have the electric motor that drives the wheel, but the diesel engine rev up to supply electricity, the cruise ship works the same, you got the electric motor that drives the Propeller and Diesel engine rev up and supply electricity to the motor.
I dont see myself driving any Toyota.
My dad had a 2004 Civic hybrid, and had it for 14 years and we pute 160,000 miles on it, but my dad said that he's never buying another hybrid.
