MIne cracked in the same spot as well. This might be a defect with all of them. is there any way of sealing the hairline crack? Any welding of plastic ? I know its a plastic base… There must be a way.. Anyone know????
Im going of a a limb here and not related to this car. But would anyone or the uploader himself know on how to replace a radiator on a toyota celica 2003
On the top radiator hose: can’t you just leave the clamp on, a few inches from the aft end, and pull it OFF the aft end once you remove the hose?
Also (too late now)–it would be nice if he called out the names of the parts as he dealt with them….but I guess anyone about to embark on this mission better already know his (her) upper hose from lower, fan connectors, etc., etc….
I guess the crack is not fixable.
One guy offer me $230 to replace it with a new radiator($150) , $60 for labor.
Do you think that is ok?
Any recommendation for the Brand for the radiator?
Thanks

But a pretty good video, over all.
Is it the same process for the 2005 Sienna? I have a leak in mine and the guy bought the one it said to buy and the radiator doesnt fit?
Great video. A mechanic told me I should replace the thermostat too. What would it take to replace the thermostat at the same time?
