are you kidding me? Take an extra hour and fix it the right way. there are two good videos that show how to do it on you tube.

Thank you! Mine already broke once two years ago. Now, when I open it I can feel that it’s about to break again. Fyi… to extend the life of it, lift on the right side of the handle every time you open it. It will still eventually break though.

4 months have passed and it still works great!!! My husband loves to tell people how he came home to find me hacking away with a screw driver, drill, and yes an ax. Very funny!!! I do giggle every time I open the gate. 🙂 Jersey Girl

I repalced the handle one time for over $300 when I was on vacation in florida and had to be able to get in and out of the tailgate. Back home and less then a year later it broke again. I was not happy and refused to pay the money again. I saw a video on utube how to replace the handle myself. I like redneck style better!!! I will giggle every time i open the gate. I look forward to bustin it up Jersey Girl Style. Wish me luck:)
