what is the difference between this kit and the ones where you connect the hid’s to the battery? and which is better?

Hi How Bixenon works,And can we follow the same procedure to install as u shown..

xXGmaineXx says:

Thank you so much for doing a DIY on this, I’m actually using this video to change out a blown HID bulb in my 2K11 SE.

Question do I need to disconnect the battery to change the bulb?

Thanks in advance

How do you disable the DRL Module on a 2009 Honda Civic? I REALLY Want to put HID’s in my Highbeam, but I don’t want it to flicker and I really don’t care about the DRL’s.

XenonSupply says:

This installation uses the 6000K color temperature. If you have additional questions please email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com.

Thank you,

ShadowX618 says:

what is the HID color used in this video 4300 or 6000k? Thanks

andylife2 says:

i just ordered xenon from you, and how long will it take to arrive in Los Angeles, California

XenonSupply says:

Adjustments are only required if your light output angle is not satisfactory. Most will not require adjustment after installation.

andylife2 says:

are the adjustments required?

XenonSupply says:

They will not work unless the DRL module is disabled. Any HID kit installed onto the Camry’s high beam with DRL still running will flicker during the day.

eddie2011cam says:

Hey buddy!
I have a big question! Will the 9005 hid kit work for the 2011 camry since the are the high beam and they are the DRL as well ?!

XenonSupply says:

This Installation will work on the 2011 with any XenonSupply HID Conversion Kit. If you have additional questions regarding installation or what to purchase, please let us know at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com or give us a call toll free at 1-800-840-3240.

the title of this video says 2011+ so will this method also work on my ’11 Camry LE?
thanks!

XenonSupply says:

This installation example is not the same as the 94 Camry but very similar. The 94 uses a different bulb type than the one shown in this video. For additional information, please contact us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)Com.

Thank you,

XenonSupply says:

The DRL assembly on the Camry usually affects the High beam, not the low beam and is not a problem with this HID installation. The relay harness is not a requirement with the Toyota Camry.

If you have additional questions please let us know at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com.

Ben Tule says:

Really great video. Do you know if it is necessary to disable the DRL in order to save the life of the ballasts?

Also, I noticed you did not use a Relay Harness. Is this required?

shirshakbt says:

does this work in a 94 camry?

XenonSupply says:

i was just wondering thats all because i used to drive a early model camry it didnt have it and i bought a new model camry and it has it

barvenstrife says:

what do the harness do?

XenonSupply says:

for XenonSupply kits, harnesses come with our Premium kits but not the standards. For the Camry the harness is not an installation requirement.

barvenstrife says:

quick question do all hid wire harnest comes with the kit ?because i just ordered mines for my camry

XenonSupply says:

You can bend the tab as other users have claimed this method works however, this type of non reversible modification is done at your own risk. Many users do not modify the “squirrel spotters” and do not have issues as well when converting to HID and considered a matter of preference.
