DIY Defi Boost Gauge Install | Toyota Supra MKIV

DIY Defi Boost Gauge Install | Toyota Supra MKIV

So we decided to replace Amanda’s old AutoMeter boost gauge with a new Defi Racer Series boost gauge. What better way to celebrate than with a DIY video right!?

The Defi Racer Series boost gauge has blue LED lighting and a blacked out face when turned off, we love it!

Ruby Amanda’s 1994 Toyota Supra is loving the new look!

Let us know if you want to see anything specific for an install!

Like the video…you show it like it is. Thanks mate….do you think the vacuum gauge will come with the same items like the vacuum hose and sensor?

Intransversable says:

Nice vid. I know Im late watching this, but why not just use the harness from the clock? They're all the exact wires you need. Plus you're obviously not going to use the clock again. Just saying.

David's West Coast Painting says:

Awesome video….thanks man…I'm going to install this on my 95 supra

Pit Stop Rx says:

Did you have to modify the dash where the clock was or did the gauge fit into the spot without any trouble? Thank you.

Dorian says:

NICE. the same sort of job waiting for me in garage

George Panagiotou says:

Luv the supras man looking good! I just bought a 94 TwinTurbo, And I’d like to upgrade my gauges and the buttons next to the AC controls. They’re looking dim. Any advice you could give me would be great thanks

SupraMane69 says:

Liam Griffin says:

Are the wheels on the black one XXR 521's? Odd question, but I'm looking for some daily wheels and those are one of the two… I am working on modifying a stock 94 TT and I have been looking for a boost gauge! So this is an awesome help!

Turbo Supra 2jz drag racing Toby Gear Head says:

kevin harvey says:

Love the content .here in Texas and damn I need to get me a Supra (dream car as well)
Been looking for a while and most of them in 40-50k range .any sites that I should look into ??

Edward Aguirre says:

nice job man! i have a gauge but was thinking of doing it in the A pillar instead of the clock location. MVP motorsports sells stock A pillars custom fit to replace the current pillar cover but they have had mixed reviews on their A pillar gauges fitment and I've read terrible stories on sf.com about how long they take to deliver. I'm terrified of breaking my dash panels cuz they are all discontinued so i dunno what to do.

Lucas Hamilton says:

Great video!! Keep up the Supra content! I'll definitely be awaiting future videos!

pokythornes says:

looks good to me

Big Mo says:

Once again you guys did a great DIY vid. Gave me more motivation to possibly attempt doing a few things on my own. Thanks for taking your time out to teach us the things that may be complicated to peeps like us but are a breeze for others(even in Japan) lol. Thanks again guys and i'll chat with y'all again soon.

JustDragitRacing says:

Xunshine says:

What about a new steering wheel ?

Street Lords says:

keep going mate. ur content is quality. helped me a shit tonne with my Supra and this is the best boost gauge install video on YouTube in my opinion.

Dylan Neman says:

haha you say that 4 wires and up is scary? well what u just did would have been scary for me but i would have been proud to do that. Nice work man!

Nathan says:

i MUST ask…. what did you do to the dash? My 93 dash looks like infected ass. Im told to use oven cleaner to get the rubberish texture off, but what then?

advice appreciated. ALSO!!!! I hope people know to make sure the key is turned off when disconnecting the bezel above the gsuges. Disconnecting it with the key set to "ON" or "ACC" triggers the Airbag light. you have to ground 2 terminals to reset it.

Love your channel. Keep it up!
