Nice job, great detail!
Nice procedure Jahan of showing how to replace the brushes. I take it that

Drinking of the coffee or tea is manditory to the process, it lubricates
the brain cells and gives you time to think about the next step of the
process lol :-))
Sometimes you do need to stand back and think about a problem, often after
a drink and perhaps a snack you come back with a little extra energy for
the brain and some fresh ideas :-))
I used to work in an autoelectrical factory and i have changed the carbon
brushes also, when we didnt have the exact thickness of brushes, rubbing an
oversized one on a flat piece of sandpaper quickly removed the excess, then
they fitted :-))
And when you wish to bed in new brushes to a commutator on a motor quickly,
wrapping sandpaper around the commutator (grit side out) and rocking the
armature a few times wears the brushes to the commutator shape.
I know this is all very basic to you, but others may find it handy :-))
This is my recently uploaded video about car alternator repair.
