I’m installing a heated power side mirror on a 2006 Toyota Sienna.

I would rate this repair as EASY if you follow my tips in the video. If not, and you drop some nuts inside the door or you don’t use paint stick leverage, you are going to have a bad time!
As seen in the video, if you have the two extra wires at the top of the mirror then you have the heated one. So get a heated replacement.
The mirror I installed is a TYC 5350141 and I bought it here for $42 → https://amzn.to/34ChVTy

Thanks for the great video, I only dropped one nut down into the door and the paint stirrer tip was super helpful.
The swivel that actually holds my mirror upright is broken, so my mirror is dangling. I get that mirrors cost a lot, but a $200 a service fee just to do this is RIDICULOUS. If I do decide to get the new mirror instead of just gorilla glue the dangling one which is what I'm going to do for the time being, I'll come right back to this video. The hardest part seems to be the door panel- not even the mirror replacement itself. Thank you for this!
Just watched the Dishwasher video & found this which I needed. Thanks for clear, step by step videos on basics.
Great video! Thanks
This was the greatest help! I did it in less than 30 min! Thank you for the help!
How in the hell does this video have dislikes? I watch videos on how to fix cars and dirtbikes all the time and this video is great. It is short and to the point, has great footage that is in focus 100% of the time, and if you follow the video it actually works. Great job on this one.
Another Sienna mirror fixed with the help of your video. Thanks! Other videos had you taking off the door panel, so much more work.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL THE Window Weather Stripping OFF Like I DID !!!!!! There are a few more screws that hold the Door On, that if you remove them you are able to get the Panel Over That Lip without the "Paint Sticks" and it won't pull the window stripping off. Zerr0
Thanks so much for this – you saved me a couple hundred bucks!!
Now fix the ex that tore off mirrors
I only had to replace the glass mirror insert, with plastic backing but, I had to make sure I purchased the insert for heated mirrors, on my 2006 Toyota Sienna XLE.
mine is identical to this broken wise but i have a 2011 limited with the turn signal in the mirror and i cant find it anywhere
