Hello Scotty my son sent me a video about Elon Musk saying his truck can carry 80 , 000 pounds and run for 500 miles ..It will charge in 30 minutes in the driver's lunch break..Do you think this is possible and how long will the batteries last .Could that 500 miles be only 400 miles in 2 years , 300 miles in 4 years ..
The Japanese don't have dumb designs that the American brands do

I agree with Scotty, I always thought that they’re barking up the wrong tree with battery powered cars as a way to reduce pollution. I drive a semi truck and the exhaust on it is so good that when it’s running you don’t even smell a hint of diesel exhaust fumes. And the trucks is 5 years old. They should be focusing on the biofuels that Scotty mentioned and better exhausts. Way less expensive in the way of required infrastructure. But you know these liberals they love to spend money.
I bought a used car from a dealership. It had "new" tires on it. I did not look to see what tire brand they were. On left turns the left rear had a sound coming from them. I lived with it. They were cheap China tires. I got new name brand tires not from China and the sound went bye bye. Do not buy China tires.
Not to mention the bendix on the starter fails….
About tires, I replaced the Continental Premium Contact 5 that come with my car with the very low end Nexen CP672. I had to spend the less as possible, but I don't wanted a chinese tire. The Nexens cp672 are made in Korea and until now are going strong in my car, without any problem.
Sad day for Toyota but Toyota didn't make the pump. Always got to talk about a 20 year old Toyota Celica.

Scotty what can i do if my car goes into limp mode? Its a 2006 dakota. It does this after i turn it off and on, sometimes it even gives me the overheat light

Hancook AT2 on my F150 . Best tires ! On my second set . First set lasted over 3 years . About 10 years ago the cooper discover were the big seller , but they cheaped them out and now they are crap . I would recommend the Hancook to anyone ! I also put a set on my wife’s 2017 equinox over a year ago – no problems whatsoever . You can pay a lot lot more for tires that don’t last as long –

I have a 2003 Saturn vue with v6. Has around 196,000 miles. Replaced transmission with a used one. Replaced two of the computers in it. I got more into it then the book value. Still running other then security light comes on at times.
