TheSaintberzerker,
Yes, you’ll have to replace the whole stabilizer bar link. We tried
everything from rust penetrating liquid to torching up the nut and bolt and
it ended up seizing by the edge of the bolt. So we end up replacing the
whole stabilizer bar link.
Thank you for the video!
I have a 2001 Chevy Prizm; it’s the same as a Toyota Corolla. The rear
springs must be getting weak, since the rear end is sitting lower than it
is supposed to. I discovered I can buy this thing called a quick strut, the
strut and the spring come together. Then I don’t have to remove the strut
from the spring, bonus.
Nice job.
What brand/part number is that 14mm that is box on one end and ratcheting
box on the other?
stripped the doggone allen screw. Was so rusted it finally holed out. Any
ideas on how I can still do this? Would it require replacing the whole
sway bar?
Never mind…ha…saw that you had the same problem around the 4 minute
mark.
