Trashed Dirt Bike – SUZUKI RM125 MOTORCYCLE REVIVAL – Can We Fix it ?

I bought the cheapest Suzuki RM 125 on Ebay I could find .
It needs some engine work and a cosmetic restoration .
Let’s get this wrecked project bike back to being a 2 stroke 125 rippa .

I am 3/4 of the way through a frame off of the same 1991 RM125. It’s great to see another one being resurrected from certain death. I will say mine was in way worse condition though lol

Back in 1973 a friend had a Suzuki 250 with a Baker racing frame that he raced. I think it was a T20 Not ram air. He made his own expansion chambers. The power curve was like….BANG. He said the throttle was an on off switch when racing motocross.

ebib says:

Are you still looking for a motor by chance? I've decided to part my 92 rm125 out and it's complete. I'm sure I'll regret doing it but let me know if you need anything

David Allen says:

Hey bud just a quickie Dave Allen here again so all those gas cans you having a back I have several of the same kind they don't vent worth a crap can actually look on Steve's Small Engine Saloon and he has a solution to put in these Vent caps on. You can get the yellow Vent caps for like a couple dollars and he has a certain spot you can put it in all it is is a drill snaps and place and it's good to go and you can use your thumb to put over when you want to slow the fuel down when you're filling up something

Keith Meyer says:

Nice to see some bike work, you seem a lot more alive since you started bike riding and repair instead of the old rusty VWs with mountains work.

Gary Burg says:

Great informative video. Surprised you have time for the bike when you're in the middle of restoring that rusty bucket VW to CONCOURCE. HEHEHE
