Glad it helped you Eric. I do need to run my ground wire to my battery based on other comments posted here. Jason, I have had no problems with draining my battery because I do not keep a charging cable in the socket when not in use.

good video but as others have said you should run the earth to the battery as the frames on a v strom are made of different metals so dont take power well.

The VStrom uses different types of metals in the frame. If you don’t ground the wires back at the battery you will cause electrolysis..
Ground have to be olways on battery (- pol) never on the frame. Frame can easily take demage.
