Following up for those who may have the same question ~
I was unable to determine exact dimensions from the online instructions so
I went ahead and ordered one.
I did have to collapse the steering rod a little bit in spite of the 2″
body lift.
No drama.
Thanks!
How much must the steering rod be collapsed? If you have a 2″ body lift, do
you still need to collapse the steering rod? BTW, these videos are
excellent. I’ve been a customer of yours for years. Keep up the good work!
Sorry so slow in responding. Best thing for you to do is go to our website,
go to the “Instructions” pull down, then “Samurai Instructions”, then
“Samurai 1.3L Sidekick-Tracker Power Steering Kit”. Begin at step 60. Let
us know if this was helpful.
