SUZUKI KINGQUAD AXi 450 500 700 750 – HOW TO REMOVE-CHANGE FRONT AXLE

This video demonstrates how to change the left-right front axle and break down the front suspension on a KingQuad 450, 500, 700 or 750. This KingQuad has 3000 miles of use on it. The job doesn’t require many tools, none specialized. While replacing the front axle there are several things to check… brakes, tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings, wheel bearing seals and broken boots. This is also a great time to grease the front wheel bearings, find the ATV/UTV

Enjoy the info. Thanks. What size greaser did you get from machined integrations. Are front and rear the same size. Also are 2008 750 and 2013 500 kingquads the same. Thanks.

hello everyone, I want to replace a front axel for my KQ, i see in the movie wen the axle is toked out from differential ,the oil get out. its normal to happen like that ,must be checked the oil in differential after axle is change?

Lou H says:

2008 LTA 450X. Right side front axle was violently pulled out of differential. Don't ask me to describe the accident please. On the differential end of my axle is a circlip. I'm thinking this circlip is needed to hold the axle into the differential. In your video i did not notice a circlip but did see a groove in the differential end of the axle that would seem to fit a circlip. How do I get the axle back in with the circlip in the groove?

Hi I just ordered to replace both the front ones. Are they interchangeable? Or is there a way to tell the left side from the right side

hi, im in the uk & my Suzuki 450 king quad 2007 has no oil in the front differential/bevel gear assembly! it has a lot of play up & down, back & forth ! do you have a video on front differential rebuild? just purchased the machine. Kind regards rob.

Marcel Nicholas says:

I put in that I wanted to know how to remove the front drive shaft and I got shown how to remove the front axle instead. I still don't know how to get the drive shaft out of the motor.

Prime Impack says:

What website did you use to replace the part?

Rod J says:

I see your video is 3 years old. Apparently machine intergrations is no longer in business. I cannot reach them by phone and their link to order does not work. Can you tell me what size the front bearing is. I ordered a couple cheap bearing packers that are 35mm and 40mm. The rear is 35mm and it worked fine and I think the front must be 30mm. any help is appreciated.

Our Adventures says:

Great video thank you! Do you have a video on replacing the differential seals?

Pier-Luc Blais says:

Mo -Reese's Pieces says:

Need Help! 2008 Suzuki King Quad 750axi, installing an EZ steer power steering unit. Got the old steering shaft out, put the lower shaft in but the metal bracket that holds the tie rods to the bottom of the lower shaft has splines and it is supposed to slide up on the bottom of the lower shaft on it's splines. Once it is in far enough the castle nut should drive it the rest of the way home. There is very little room in there with everything removed and not sure what I have to do to get it on the shaft. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Peace, Mo

how to change4wd/dif-lock actuator ass on king quad 450

James Petty says:

You took way to much stuff off to replace the axle.
Remove the wheel, shock bolt, lower ball joint nut, the axle nut and that's it.
Move the shock out of the way, lift the top control arm up and the axle will come out.

ALESSANDRO ROMANO says:

very usefull video. I would suggest, if not having an air screwer like yours, to unlock the hub nut as first operation, when the atv is still on the ground, not lifted yet

David Bean says:

thanks for the great king quad videos
