I made another video (you can see it on my channel) in which I describe
exactly how to install the V-Strom hand guards, which, by the way, are the
correct guards for this bike. You will need some additional parts which are
detailed in the video. If you need any more help, please, let me know. I
think you will be so pleased with the upgraded headlight bulb you won’t
find any need to go with HIDs or LEDs.

I love your videos, great work. I also have a 2011 GSX1250FA. I am thinking
of upgrading my lights and plan to do what you have done before playing
around with HID or LEDs. I am also interested in adding hand guards. I
watched your vid where you fitted the Touratech hand guards and I read
where you took them off. I see on this video a different set of guards, can
you please tell me a little about them? I liked the guards on my old VStrom
and these look similar. Would you recommend them?

Once you remove the two retaining bolts, reach up under the cluster and try
to pull it out. It should pop right out.

I replaced the low beam bulb with a Philips H7 CrystalVision Ultra bulb and
the light is a much brighter white.
