Thanks a ton! Just what I needed.
I noticed you checked the oil level before running the engine. You will
probably need to add a little more oil once you’ve run the engine as the
dry oil filter will take up some of the oil once it’s been run.

How do I know which oil filter to use? I’ve done a lot of maintenance on my
bike, but I’m new to the motorcycle deal. I talked with my father had he
said I shouldn’t need to change the filter to top up the oil.
My issue is that I think I burned though all my oil, and it looks empty.
It’s having some difficulty starting, it just needs a little extra gas than
when I got it.
