we do not have your car listed for a plug and play solution???

mrhieneken888 says:

Ignas Jukonis says:

where I can buy it?

jessiemay429 says:

Nice video.. I have a JVC kw-avx740 head unit, and there is nowhere for me
to plug in the steering wheel harness plug. I saw on another video they had
the female port with a wire that they just attached to another wire on the
head unit. Can I do this with an aerpro harness? If so, which wire??

kaj1806 says:

I have a 2006 Hyundai Getz, and would like to be able to use the steering
wheel controls with a new stereo. What products do I need to do this? I
also plan on the stereo having iPod direct.

MegaEjones says:

Hello Mr Hieneken, In order to advise you of the correct harness I need to
see the plug on the end of the wring harness that came with the unit. Can
you take a close up photo of it and send it to me?. I think the item you
want is the APP8PIO5 but its nice to get an image to be 100% Sure. You can
send the image to me at ejones@tdj.com.au alternatively you can go online
and match it up your self

MegaEjones says:

Hi Lucky, If you want to go with bricks and mortar shopping, our products
are available from most Automotive aftermarket retailers like Autobarn,
Repco and Super Cheap (However they may need to order them in). They are
also available from independent car audio specialist stores under the CAM
group (you can search on line for them under Car audio masters) for on line
there are a number of people doing them. One of them has posted on this
thread.

MegaEjones says:

it is not PAC or Metra. There are no delays in 99% of cases. What type of
car do you have? I will see if we have one that suits.

MegaEjones says:

BTW folks you can do this for all types of cars. so for example if you have
a Ford. do a face book search “Aerpro fits ford” then click through to the
Aerpro fits ford page.

MegaEjones says:

The facia kit is an after market part from us (Aerpro) you can buy them
from automotive aftermarket retailers or on-line. Please visit our special
facebook page for Suzuki. goto Facebook and search for Aerpro Fits Suzuki
on this page you will find a link to your car and all the goodies that fit
it including the facia kit harness etc etc.

TheKaranam says:

HI, I have the Swift with audio controls on the steering wheel. I am

the other side of the steering wheel. Please let me know if its possible.
Thanks in advance

ntryzm says:

So I ordered a bunch of Aerpro harnesses for my commy A One to go to my
JVC, B One that joins that A to the holden. C The patch cable to my JVC and
Wheel harness. D Wheel Control Harness After watching this… Does that
mean I don’t need cable B because the wheel harness does that too?

Maiquel Rinco says:

At my new car player i have one Key1 pink/black and key2 brown. And the
connector of the car suzuki grand vitara 2008 left me 4 cables, one
pink/black, one purple, one blue/blank and other blank/blue. Do you known
where i need to connect the key1 and key2 for steering wheel?

MegaEjones says:

Hi Lucky, No the 2 bolts are related to the factory stereo. When you
install an aftermarket stereo you need to buy an installation kit. That kit
will have everything you need to physically hold the new unit in place.
Please Note: I am unable to step you through the entire process online.
This video is designed primarily to show people the concept of the plug and
play harness system. If you need a lot of help with your installation I
recommend the usage of a qualified installer. All the best.

safcfan4eva says:

Video was a great help thanks.

mrhieneken888 says:

Hello, can you recommend the product code of the secondary harness i need
for a Pioneer X3550UI. I have purchased the Aerpro SWC harness for my Swift
2009 and patch lead for the head unit however cant figure out the correct
secondary harness. Cheers in advance mate!

2sleepy2yellow says:

because my dealership says it doesnt exist. Thanks

MegaEjones says:

Please visit our face book page for Suzuki’s. go to face book and do a
search for “Aerpro fits Suzuki” on this face book page you will find a link
to your specific car. that link will take you directly to a PDF of
everything we do for your car inc harnesses and facia kits.

MegaEjones says:

No Problems, If you have any difficulty finding what you need please let me
know here or on the face book page. Cheers! 🙂

mrhieneken888 says:

Hello, thanks for your quick reply! I ended up purchasing the APP8P105 and
hooked it all up. Everything works except the steering wheel controls. At
times I would lower the volume or mute and it works, then the next it won’t
read any of the buttons I press. It seems like the connection cuts off and
just ignores the commands from the swc? What should I do? Cheers mate!

MegaEjones says:

I am sorry but I can not offer advise on removal of car dash facias by text
and frankly I can not remember every detail of every car. When you have
experience you learn how to find the screws and were to Pull on the panels.
Unfortunately we have not done a video on a Civic. but you may find one on
you tube someplace. regards E.j,

HondaCivic TypeR says:

how to remove dashboard?

MegaEjones says:

The aftermarket facia kit clips in so its just a case of pulling on it and
it will release.

MegaEjones says:

@jessiemay429 If you the Infra red Remote control for the unit you can get
a steering wheel adaptor that converts steering wheel commands into infra
red codes. ( It learns from your IR Remote) The product is not plug and
play but relatively simple to wire up. The Aerpro part number is APUIR.

MegaEjones says:

They are AVAILABLE from Automotive retailers like Autobarn, Super Cheap and
Repco. they are also available form JB Hi fi and independent Car Audio
retailers. However, they do not all have them as a stocked line yet and are
in many cases ordered in by request. Most Autobarn stores (Not All) carry
the most common cars and their staff are the most familiar with the system
at this point in time. Remember, This system is plug and play and is
specific to each car as a solution.

JIIVIIVIY says:

@chosefull You can find a large range of Control Harness packages on eBay
Australia

MegaEjones says:

Hello. Pioneer head units have 2 different patch leads. it sounds like you
have the alternate one to the one you need. Can you give me the Part number
of the patch lead that you have? again, you are welcome to send me email
directly to ejones@tdj.com.au

kaj1806 says:

I talked to a couple of guys at a specialised auto place; there are options
to connect to the steering wheel controls, but I was looking at $300 for
the stereo and another $300 roughly for the steering wheel harness, plus
installation – so about $700+ all up. I just settled for a basic stereo
with iPod control and am getting used to using the stereo. But if you’re
not fussed about spending that much, then I’d say look into it – Alpine is
good for stereos and highly recommended.

mrhieneken888 says:

And also just now I pressed the increase volume button and the player
decided to replay the track it was currently playing. Cheers for your help
in advance!

MegaEjones says:

The system we used is plug and play (No Wiring) so I can not tell you the
colour codes of the car. Its all pre done, you just plug it in and she
works. The type of head unit you have is not supported by this system. You
have to find the wiring using a multimeter and pressing the steering wheel
buttons and watching for a resistance on the meter to pop up when you
probe each combination of wire ends in the connector.

MegaEjones says:

You need to do one of 2 things change the unit to a APPISOA or if your
technical remove the link in the connector that is furtherest away from the
wiring that go’s to the 3.5mm Jack ( Only do this if your a tech kind of
person) other wise change the patch lead. ( Note the APPISOA is a few more
$ than the one you have. ( For anyone else reading this I recommend the
APPISOA for most units nower days its a bit more expensive but it can
simulate both type of Pioneer head unit.

Lucky Singh says:

hi there where can i get the harness.

nzed caisido says:

hi there so if i need to change again the stereo how do you remove the
front face kit? cheers

Maiquel Rinco says:

Hi, i buy a generic radio and has 2 cables one say KEY1 and KEY2 for
steering wheel, which color of suzuki audio connector will for key 1 and
key2 control of steering wheel?

MegaEjones says:

We do not supply BT Buttons for steering wheels. ( If thats what your
asking???)

myfaceisgoodlooking says:

Hi there, I also have a Hyundai Getz 2006 Model and I have to replace the
head unit, were you able to find a stereo that worked with the steering
wheel controls, thanks 🙂

MegaEjones says:

@AmikOner Sorry for the late reply. I have been in china and unfortunately
You tube is Blocked there. a unit with “Steering Remote Ready” is what you
need. that will work with the Controll harness system. Just make sure you
buy the correct patch lead to suit your head unit. cheers
