Hi, you’re videos are really insightful and I enjoy watching them. Quick
question though if you don’t mind answering. I just changed my plugs and
now it won’t start/misfires. Do you think i put my plug leads in the wrong
holes?
Ok, thats a lot and explains why they looked like this. Suzuki says that
spark plugs have to be changed every 12000km (and checked every 6000km).
Did you adjust the “spark plug gap” or was it ok?
I have a used motorcycle. purchased 2 years ago with 15.000km on the clock.
The spark plugs are replaced at approximately 50,000 km. So at least
35.000km I have ridden the new spark plugs approximately 5000km and they
work real nice
Good video mate, an alternative way of getting them out if you don’t have
one of those fancy sockets with the plastic bits inside is to replace the
HT leads once the plugs have been unscrewed and pull out the HT leads.
Works a treat 🙂 Chris.
thnx so much for making this video as i have the exact same bike and i am
considering replasing the spark plugs as well so this will come verry handy
,and for the future maybe u will consider making more videos about cheking
valve clearence and carburaters balancing. Thanks again so much and doeii

Yes, the manual says to do. That is why I do my own maintenance. I no
longer trust the people in the garage. The gap was okay for what I know.
How many kilometers have you been driving these spark plugs?
