My cable adjust is all the way in and there’s no more slack. Can you loosen it on the throttle body also, to get more slack?
Hey bro I have a v star and i just got same grips as u…..? I don’t see two holes on my grips like u have, so how can I take the wire and insert it into the grip like u did?
Good video… Ready to change out mine.
This helped me out a lot but put the throttle on first… as you can see in there video the two grips don’t line up. If you put the throttle on first then you can see where the other grip needs to go to line up perfect.
Not unless you don’t want the throttle to roll. The throttle grip is held on not only by the cables but the switch control cover clamps down over the grip holding it on the bars. if you were to use glue the throttle wouldn’t roll.
there is no need to glue the throttle grip ?
Thanks for sending this one to me. I think I can do this:)
Great how to video. Is this the same process for the throttle side of a star 950?
