The KLR is a great bike and I was seriously looking at one to buy but the
DR is better for what type of riding I wanted to do ,mostly woods, fire
roads ,dirt roads and very seldom paved roads.
That is one good think about the klr. I can swap seals without
disassembling them.

I got a little lost when the innards were being discussed and you dint
mention the specs on that PVC split-pipe (1.5″ schedule 40 ?) … Great
vid. I might take mine to a dealer and work for a week to pay that bill.
When you add trhe cost of rags and incidentals, it adds up (but THEN you
have the stuff).
