However – You should always smear some Vaseline or petroleum jelly over both battery terminals after you have fitted them to stop any future corrosion.
The terminals are recessed on this lithium battery. Did you cut the ears off the battery cable connectors to make them lie flat against the front side of the terminals? The negative terminal connector looks different at 7:46 vs. 7:47.
