In this video we are going to show you how to remove and replace the A/C Compressor on Suzuki Grand Vitara Third Generation. This should cover years from 2006 to 2014. We demonstrated on a 2009 Grand Vitara with the 2.4 5 cylinder engine. It might be the same or very close procedure for the v6 2.7 3.2 engine as well. We just do not have one at the shop to confirm 100%.
It is not very complicated procedure but it is very limited room. It took us less than 30 minutes to do the job but if you do it for first time it will take you close to 1 hour.
After you replace the Air Conditioner Compressor you will need to install the Serpentine Belt. We have the video how to do that right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MouMBMlSyw4
We also have a video how to recharge the A/C System after you replace the A/C Compressor. The video is right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-JnHPbDBOM

Claudio Carmona Pérez says:

Please I need to know if I can put an ac compressor from a 2.7l suzuki grand vitara to a 2.0l suzuki grand vitara, they appear to be the same and I can find an used 2.7l, but a 2.0l has to be new because I can't find it used.

Trino Munoz says:

how? I can test the AC air compressor if still working
