Why waist time, repairing it. Buy a new one.
And have a nice ride, instead of using time.
you can put them in the oven at 300 for 10 min and it will fix them 75 % of the time
My Suzuki CDI is potted half with black stuff and half with white stuff and both are as hard as glass. I've been chipping away with a hammer and chisel.

hey bam6972 can you not bypass the cdi box to make it run??
No need to soak in acetone, that's just adding insult to injury, just cut the back off the CDI box, and resolder any cracking cold solder on the backside of the board, or if you want to really do it right just resolder everything. https://youtu.be/j6q3lPabP4s
