Appreciate the video & taking a few minutes out of your day to throw up a
“How To” video regarding an Oil Change for Suzuki Intruder. It’s not
Rocket Science but to be safe, it’s nice to see someone showing the right
way (In General) to go about it. Again, very much appreciated…

hey man that video helped alot, I also have a suzuki intruder 800.. I was
wondering if you could do a video on how to replace the spark plugs? If you
could just show how to get to the spark plug. I mean i know where it is but
i dont know how to take off the plastic cover thing….

As for the quanity of oil, i think i used about 2.5 quarts. I put 2 qaurts
in then had my wife sit on the bike while i added more until it was just
below the upper line on the oil window.

ronniekennedy86 says:

Not sure of plastic thing you are referring to. But, black rubber boot on
top of the spark plug can just be pulled off the top carefully. If you are
talking about the chrome colored plastic around the plug, there is no need
to take it off. Just get a deep set socket to fit down over the plug.

Thanks for the video. Manual made it sound easy but it’s always better to
watch somebody show how it’s done. I have ’98 Intruder.

ronniekennedy86 says:

Absolutely! Glad it helped!

No problem…glad i could help out. If you have any questions i might be
able to help with, let me know!

refilled?

My brother has a 93′ Intruder 800 and compared to other cruiser bikes the
Intruder 800 is much faster in acceleration and good handling…. doesn’t
really compare to my Yamaha R6 race bike tho 🙂 On the subject of oil
changes… anyone doing a oil change should warm the living hell out of the
bike prior to draining the oil, this way it will drain faster and more will
drain out… also opening the crank case oil filler cap while draining oil
is ideal.
