Hi, i have a Suzuki 140hp 4 stroke outboard engine. The engine starts ok, and it runs good until 3000rpm. If I go above 3000rpm the engine starts to loose power and lower the rpms until I lower the throttle to 3000rpm. I am not sure what the problem is. I know you have more experience than i do. Any advice ?

Great video. Does not like it's going to be "quick and easy"…

Hi my Suzuki 115 when it gets past 3000 rpm it starts loping up and down could it be in part your removing on this one? @DIY BOAT REPAIR

Hey, my engine symptoms have been cleared. It turned out that the protective sleeve of the oil pipe leading to the nozzle of the high-pressure oil pump had hardened and blocked the oil pipe. I removed the protective sleeve and the engine returned to normal.Thank you very much for your guidance and help

Hello! I would like to ask, my Suzuki 90, the engine cramps at 4000 RPM for about 5-10 minutes, then can't accelerate, feel there is not enough fuel supply, have to go back to the idle, is this also about the high pressure pump problem?

If you don't mind me asking whats the tourqe specs

Great video!! Really informative. My 2016 Suzuki runs great until I keep it at rpm's over 4800 for over 6 min or more. Then it slows all the way down to 2800 range and then jumps back up.. Keeps doing this until I slow her down to under 4k. Can't figure out why

Jimmy Wood says:

Great video, thanks for going through this process.
