Thanks a ton for the quick and dirty how-to. I’ve gotta do the one on my
DR650 today, and the side cases look darn near identical to your 350. I
don’t know how you got your gasket to stay intact when you changed out the
clutch, but I have horrible visions of my gasket coming off in 30 different
pieces. Also, the running commentary was great.

Thanks! All that noise is coming from PA.

This got to be in FL, the typical background noise of the insects, nice vid
and bike.

I just have to say thank you for viewing! I would replace the clutch cable
first to be honest with ya. The reason is, after i replaced friction plates
my clutch cable broke while riding. After i replaced the clucth cable it’s
running soild again. If u take the clutch plates a part and they look good
, i would do the cable only. Keep me in the loop of your working’s!!

Ill try to help the best i can. just ask.. Happy riding!

Mary Aguirre says:

wait.. you took the drain plug out and no oil..????? Damn dude, its a wet
clutch, so maybe that was part of the issue. The clutch in these bikes sits
in oil and if there is no oil it could affect your clutch performance, not
to mention severely impacting the whole engine. I would imagine that no oil
would burn the clutch fast. Oil is the most important and easiest
maintenance endeavor, but hey great video!!!
