If I am reading your question right the fibers can go into the basket either way just be sure to line up the notches. It’s the steels that need to be rounded edge in towards the motor with a STOCK Clutch Configuration (remember this vid is a Brocks Cush Mod install and has some variances from stock). Newer models have a different dimension fiber in the rear of the stack but if yours is an Suzuki 03 1K they will all be the same…

Hey cool vid, I have a K3.
The nodges where not all in the same spot when i pulled them out.

I am putting the same ones in on your way, all in the same nodge position.

Doest that matter for used clutch plates? that you puth them back in different?

Thanks Brock,.. I ran all the blue springs for a while, I have also staggered them with some stock springs., clutch wear hasn’t been unreasonable (155 rwhp at 61″s with a suited 190lb rider).

I have a finicky clutch hand and all the spring combos have been attempts to improve my short times, crutching if you will.

The cush mod has been a big help with my 60fts and overall consistency for sure, I appreciate all your hard work for the community…

Thanks again…

This is a very good video – well one and informative, great work! ***BUT*** if you do not run our cushion springs, you run the risk of seriously accelerated clutch wear. Our spring pressure is severe, but if it appears to be extreme, replace your clutch cable and it will be much softer. The cushion acts like a 125 lb. spring on the back of your clutch and you lose 10% of your frictional area removing the fiber to make room… if you don’t run our pressure to compensate for this they burn up.
