In Mercedes you have the oil filter on top and you can vacuum the oil through the dipstick, also you can take it off with a regular 27ml socket
i just craw under my van……no jack…..no latch….. its just there
the germans did it first and every laughed at them because they were putting oil pans with no drainplugs on cars now most shops vac out the oil on most new cars
what happens to all the dirty oil?
Um that's trap for alot of dirt too
I have had 4 differnt vw jettas 2010 2011 2011 and 2012 and they all have it right on top lol
My 4th gen 4runner is like this
BMW's oil filters are on top as well.
All the old oil goes back ?
Subaru didn’t know how gravity works
Mercedes does that too, and doesn’t leave the puddle of poo water behind
ea888 way better
I always prefill my new oil filter. How do I do that with this setup. You still have to get under the car to drain the crankcase don't you?
What about sparkplugs?
For those of you who believe pre-filling your oil filter…..explain this one for me
