Dont forget the alignment dumbazz
You bring me a knuckle and just want a bearing pressed out and in? 50$ no warrenty
A front wheel drive wheel bearing replacement kit can be had for about $120. You might even be able to rent one from Autozone.
with the kit, you don't even need to remove the knuckle from the car.
Nope socket and hammer got mine out in 20 minutes
everyone saying they don't have room for a press don't seem to understand a "press" can also be a long bolt with a selection of different size plates/cans. they sell as a kit for like $50 and come in a case the size of a briefcase, and will work with multiple vehicles. paying someone to do something almost always ends in dissapointment. you learn that with age.
Oh, definitely- but if you have the room, you can pick up a cheap press for a few hundred bucks. I think 250 at harbor freight for a twenty ton setup. (Not the biggest fan of Harbor Freight, but that’s not an overly complex thing.)
he’s special
Nope xD
New part costs 35-75$ where I live.
Time to replace it SHORTER than a time to take it to the shop and put it back.
Single bearing costs 15-40$ + shop fee starting at at least 40$.
Someone should do the simplest math lol….
every shop i called wanted to charge me for a full hour worth of work ( claimed it would be around $160) & other shops didnt want to do it at all. so i bought a hub remover and a bearing press kit from amazon and did all the work myself instead of paying these shops that dont wanna help
Id press it for $40, probably in your city too lol
Dude need a backwards hammer.
Go buy a press. Used ones all over marketplace for cheap.
Yeah no, we bought a press. We don’t have a favorite shop. Everybody here breaks things without fixing anything. That press takes up a good chunk of space in the garage though.
When i had to do mine on my 05 XT I bought whole assembiles from Doorman
That is an ugly sounding bearing! Lots of auto parts stores have presses and will press a new bearing for you. Some Subarus had a threaded hole that a bolt would go through to push the bearing out, if I remember correctly. Helpful information, as usual!
Yes millennials
How many hours for a front end alignment? Don't do this
