Installation of the Cylinder 4 Reverse Cooling Mod on an STI | GetaDOMTUNE |. This is a step by step guide so, no more excuses! I go over the theory of how it works, the completed & detailed installation, and offer tons of tips and info along the way. This particular install was on a 2020 Subaru STI and while the specific kit is the GetaDOMTUNE kit, these are the same steps for ANY kit you decide to get. These videos take a lot of time and effort, please share this video on Subaru/STI circles! Thank you!

Do you only need this if you track the car.
I have a question for you on this mod after you installed it did you heater start blowing cooled air in the winter or is it good to go?
Is there a reason to use rtv instead of teflon tape on the barb?
Amazing video bro! Question tho, wouldn’t clamping the cooling mod hose during the burping process create an air pocket in the mod hose? I may have missed something u said but I could be wrong lol
Would I need this mod if I have equal length headers ?
I just purchased my first Scooby and this video will be a lifesaver if the previous owner did not do this mod.
Bro on my 2015 sti went to do this mod and the screw stripped. Not sure how the heck to tackle this now. I’ve tried looking for extractors but due to the location it’s a royal pain to get to it.
Great video thanks very much
Very well explained! I just have one question- When you are burping the system when do we remove the bottom pliers on the new hose ( cyl 4 mod)
My engine builder, some of us here in the Philippines gets their engine with a condemned heater core (we just don't really need the hearter for the airconditioning), Which line can I use for this mod?
I am ready to do mine! Only question i have is, when do you remove the hose clamp on the mod tube when burping the system?? And shouldnt we not clamp it so coolant is filled to max capacity and cylinder 4 actually had coolant in to cool it?
Hi. Thx for great video. Some users install cooling mod on silver tube, some (like you) on black one. Which pipe is the right one? I have WRX STI 2018. Thx guys.
