Nate says:

Biden supporters and SJWs drive Subarus.

7plymaple says:

I must say it bugs me that the success of the Paul Hogan marketing scheme is credited with the rise in popularity of Subaru in the 90's. Lets not forget one of the most popular forms of motorsport at the time was the WRC. The late Colin Mcrea single handedly did more for Subaru than any marketing campaign. His driving in some of the most exiting seasons of the WRC were the foundation, validation and proof of all their successful marketing campaigns. Subaru consistantly sent him out with cars that would break. He still managed to make them look like the best cars in the world.

Were you compensated for this video?

D.A. Risse says:

Subaru ever fix the head gasket issues ?

Bill Stolz says:

I have a 2005 Outback with a blown head gasket. Found out it's been a problem with this engine since the 90's but Subaru never did anything about. That is not the sign of a very good company. Now my wife's 2018 Outback has an oil leak. Hope it's not the same problem.

Aaron Redd says:

Uuum, which part talks about the new engine?

Michael Adoga says:

Now I want a Subaru outback

Chris Campbell says:

Aside from changing spark plugs they are luckily easy to work on.

Luis Miguel Martínez says:

These were the kind of videos that were uploaded to Autonauts Garage. What ever happened to that channel?

Carlos Rivas says:

Osvaldo Flores says:

msears101 says:

One problem. They stopped making the outback with a manual transmission.

Henry Thompson says:

Just remember…..SUBARU spelled backwards is U R A B U S !

Bob Biniaszewski says:

Thanks Scotty !!!!!!

Chao Vang says:

I gave up on subaru boxer engine, my wrx had a bad rod bearing on #1 piston , no room to remove and replace it, I ended up throwing it away, I'll never buy a subaru boxer engine again even new one I still don't trust boxer engine anymore.

Skunk Bucket says:

The day I got my permit, I drove for the first time on a public road in my parents' 1970 Subaru ff-1. In so many ways, it was lightyears ahead of its time. Front wheel drive, four wheel independent suspension, rack and pinion steering, inboard brakes and a trunk that was ludicrously large because the fuel tank was under the back seat and the spare tire and jack were stored above the boxer engine. The interior was so efficiently laid out that we managed to do a drive one time with our entire family of six AND a string bass in the car. It handled much better in the snow than the rear wheel drive cars of the day, and its owners manual, complete with beautiful young Japanese models in white gloves and pill-box hats, translated into English probably by someone who took two years of the language in his Japanese high school, kept us laughing for hours. It wasn't fast (top speed just under 80, don't ask me how I know) and it wasn't terribly durable (we replaced the dead 1100cc engine with a newer 1400cc at 70,000 miles) but it was a hoot to drive. I'm a little sad that I haven't seen an ff-1 or a Star on the road since the '70's.

John Madjeruh says:

Remaining credibility gone in 3…2…1

Michael Vol says:

Build a car that gets better gas mileage and you won't need all those hybrid gimmicks. All they have done is drive up the price of the vehicle.

Michael Vol says:

Informative, but more of an advertisement! Nothing that wasn't really known before hand anyway.

Mr. G. says:

A great homage to Subaru history, Scotty!

William Pow says:

The reason i choose Subaru is because awd i can just drive not worried about road conditions or turning knobs to fit the road conditions

Jimmer Trzcinski says:

Scotty so what’s up with the new engine?
