2001 Subaru Instrument Panel Light Bulb Replacement.
Happy to help out.
Thanks for the video. Saved me a lot of hassles. Those two hidden screws had me hung up for a while.
Hi Andrea, I was sloppy and did not disable anything for this job – which is very bad practice. The best practice is to disconnect the battery negative terminal. That will prevent electronics damage and disable the airbag.
Did you disable the airbag? do you have to?
either that, or blown fuse.
Possibly too much resistance in the bulb. Did you use the 194 bulbs? If so, spring for the OEM bulbs from Subaru.
Sorry if this is a silly question but do you have the dimmer switch turned all the way up? What year and model Subaru do you have?
Asante Sana! (Swahili for thank you very much!) I tried all that but, my lights are dim..what could be the problem or what am i doing wrong? 🙁
